Waitstaff - Cafe Muse - Queensland Museum

Café Muse located in the Queensland Museum is now hiring casual waitstaff. These casual positions are approximately 15-20 hours per a week. The café is open 7 days; Weekdays 7.30am – 5.00pm / Weekends 9.30am – 5.00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a high-quality service to guests
• Work as an integral part of the front of house team; running food, drinks and clearing tables
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with guests, supervisors and staff members
• Assist with on-site functions and events if required

To be successful, you are:

• Passionate about customer service, with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a fast paced environment
• Can carry 3 plates and a tray of drinks/coffee
• A team player who can work independently 
• Well presented with a great work ethic
• In possession of valid Australian working rights
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months
• A current QLD RSA
